Nate Walton — Out of Body

Nate Walton’s photos are intimate studies of life and sex with a snapshot aesthetic, celebrating details of mundane situations and the non-figurative in and around Los Angeles.

With an incredible touch of intimacy and distance, Walton creates a very special world of his own wherein his work explores a place between the still life and the portrait. His photos have a straightforward quality to them that force the viewer to notice what is absent – the ghost aspect, as Walton puts it – and what looms in the periphery.
